Child & Family Wellbeing Hub

The Child and Family Wellbeing Hubs are being developed in response to recommendations from the Royal Commission into Mental Health.

The Brimbank Melton Hub is a partnership by IPC Health, Western Health, and the Royal Children’s Hospital.

The Hub aims to improve access to integrated and community-based services for children aged 0–11 years who are experiencing developmental, emotional, relational and behavioural challenges, and their families. The hubs will be designed in partnership with the community and people with lived experience, delivering a range of paediatric health, mental health, allied health and family services.

As part of Western Health’s paediatric allied health team based in the Brimbank Melton, the Child and Family Wellbeing Hubs is seeking a Grade 2 Social Worker for this 0.8 EFT position.

To be Successful in this Role, you will have:

  • Strong assessment, clinical reasoning and treatment skills
  • Experience working in a paediatric setting
  • Demonstrated a collaborative team approach to achieving positive outcomes
  • Good communication skills and an ability to engage with children and families
