your opportunity
As the Virtual Job Placement Coach, you will be part of a support team that works together with the young person to provide individually tailored employment related services aimed at assisting them to achieve ongoing employment outcomes. In this role, you will use your customer service skills and ability to build working relationships with young people to support them to gain skills that will lead them to meaningful, sustainable employment.
Your role will include:
- Completing virtual intake assessments with the participant to determine work readiness.
- Develop tailored job plans and schedule appointments for the young person with our Transition to Work services.
- Maintaining member contact, member records and ensure compliance to relevant systems and contract guidelines.
- Working in collaboration with our members to goal set and implement strategies.

- Demonstrated experience in identifying and implementing actions including job seeking activities to progress the young person on their pathway to employment.

- Proficient skills in using technology and systems; our compliance requirements are high, and your administration needs to be on par with this.
- Great stakeholder engagement skills
- Your practice is client focused, our young people are at the heart of it, and you genuinely want to make a difference in their lives.
- You are resilient and can work in a fast-paced environment where no two days are the same.
- A solid understanding of the local labour market as well as the barriers faced by disadvantaged young people
