Description of Work:

The person in this position will provide leadership across a number of federally-funded projects in Dr. Edwards’ Interpersonal Violence Research Laboratory at UNL. Responsibilities will include project management, staff/student hiring/training/supervision, interfacing with community partners/funders, data analyses, dissemination efforts, IRB approvals, clinical trials/NDA registrations, contributing to grant writing, and other research and administrative duties as needed.
*Location of work must be @ UNL in Lincoln, NE or in one of our offices in Rapid City SD or Pine Ridge SD. Options for remote work will NOT be considered.
Must have a valid driver’s license and meet University driver eligibility requirements.

Minimum Required Qualifications:

Master’s degree in public health, psychology, social work, or related field plus two (2) years of experience working with and/or extensive knowledge of sexual violence prevention and/or intervention. Experience with project management, grant writing, and research. Knowledge of the multitude of Native American cultures, traditions, and histories. Exceptional interpersonal and leadership skills, the ability to multi-task and manage multiple staff and/or students. Effective communication skills. Must have a valid driver’s license and meet University driver eligibility requirements.

Preferred Qualifications:

Ph.D. in public health, psychology, social work, or related field. Five (5) years post masters experience or two (2) years post Pd.D. Previous experience with nonprofit management is highly desired as is previous experience with large-scale research studies with intervention and training components. Expertise in participatory action research.

Posted Salary: $65,000/yr. minimum
