ABOUT THE ROLE
We are currently seeking passionate and dedicated an Early Childhood Educator to join our Joondalup Centre team. You will play a crucial role in shaping the early educational experiences of our young learners. Work in partnership with our Early Childhood Teacher to support our children and foster their social, emotional, and intellectual growth in a play-based environment.
Our operating hours are Monday to Friday between the hours of 6.30am to 6.15pm.
DUTIES
- Create and implement age-appropriate curriculum and activities that promote learning and development.
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages active participation and engagement.
- Develop strong relationships with children and their families to support their educational journey.
- Collaborate with a team of educators to plan and coordinate lessons and activities.
- Monitor and assess children’s progress, providing feedback and support as needed.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all children in the classroom.
ABOUT YOU
- Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or an ACECQA approved equivalent)
- Understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and the National Quality Standard (NQS)
- Demonstrated skills and experience supporting the development and learning of children 0-6 years old
- Current Working With Children Check and current National Police Clearance (within 6 months)
