We are currently recruiting lepidopterists to work at various locations. Positions will be from four to eight weeks between June and early August.
The position will involve carrying out butterfly surveys as part of a large scale monitoring programme. Methods include pollard walks, sweep netting and von sommering traps. Applicants should have experience of working in remote areas, butterfly survey experience and a biology or geography related degree.
In return, successful applicants receive full accommodation and food onsite, networking and skills development, flight bursaries for more experienced candidates, and of course the opportunity to contribute towards long-term conservation efforts.
