Summary of Duties:

Under general supervision, you will develop integrations following defined standards and processes.  You will also create, monitor, maintain, diagnose, troubleshoot and document development work on modernization systems; ensures compliance with system and business requirements; and notifies appropriate personnel of actions needed during the development process. You will assist with interpreting development requirements. You must be able to learn new technology in order to operate and maintain new technology and assist in transitions.

You will resolve problems requiring analysis and the discernment of the most suitable solution(s)/processes(s) available. Selects from “in the box”/best practice models/strategies to resolve problems. You will use your skills and abilities to complete routine tasks at the beginning, while growing toward completing tasks of increasing complexity. You will use basic understanding of the field to perform job duties; may need some guidance on job duties; applies learning to recommend options to address unusual situations. You will have to recognize basic knowledge and skills and the ability to apply learning in everyday situations under direct guidance or supervision. You will be competent and have the ability to work on basic development phases, but still may need instruction and guidance for other (more complex) phases. You will participate in specialized projects under direction of a higher-level IT professional.
 

Required Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in a related technology field OR four years of professional work experience in the field of information technology.

  • Effective interpersonal and communication skills. 

  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate successfully with a wide variety of people.

  • Basic to intermediate proficiency level with Microsoft software programs such as Outlook, Excel, Access, Word and PowerPoint to create spreadsheets, graphs, charts and reports, prepare presentations, conduct data analysis and manage information efficiently.
     

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with ERP software, specifically Workday.

  • Understanding of modern service architectures, including SOA, Service Buses, Message Queuing, Web Services/APIs.

  • Experience with source control systems.

  • Experience programming with an Object Oriented or Procedural programming language.

  • Experience with extract/transform/load (ETL) data into relational databases.

  • Experience with SOAP and/or Restful web services.

  • Experience with relational databases, including SQL programming.

Monthly Salary: Range 04IT tendersglobal.net $6,147 – $8,266 (Step A – M) tendersglobal.net Successful candidates typically begin at the beginning of the salary range and receive scheduled salary increment increases in accordance with WAC 357-28 .
