About the Role
We have an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to join the Technical Services – Film and Media team as a Media Production Technical Officer, where you will be responsible for providing technical support for teaching in higher education as well as providing support for university staff.
In addition to providing technical advice and support to university staff and students, you will also support specific facilities including digital media equipment store / loans office, production orientated classrooms, recording suites and studios as well as assist with the production of video, audio and still materials where required.
About You
To be suitable for this role you will need to have experience in the below key accountabilities:
- Technical ability / experience with digital media production equipment including video, film, photography, audio, and lighting gear.
- Knowledge of industry workflows around media post-production.
- Experience with professional post-production hardware and software, including software from Adobe, Apple, Blackmagic and AVID.
- Excellent organizational skills, in particular with loan and booking systems and asset tracking. Ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines. Strong troubleshooting skills.
- A commitment to excellent customer service and constant improvement.

Qualifications
Associate diploma level qualification with relevant work-related experience or a certificate level qualification with post-certificate relevant work experience or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training.
