The Diocese of Norwich is looking for an Environmental and Sustainability
Advisor.
- 35 hrs per week (ft)
- £31,491 to £38,389 pa (subject to skills and experience)
- Initially a two-year contract with scope to extend, funding permitting.
The Environmental and Sustainability Advisor will:
- have lead responsibility for coordinating work to implement the Diocesan Net Zero Carbon Action
Plan. -
devise and facilitate implementation of a management plan to ensure year-on-year reductions in
greenhouse gas emissions. - undertake effective data analysis and reporting to support decision making.
- support the continuing development of accurate emissions data.

support the work of the Property Team in relation to clergy housing, by providing energy audits
and reviewing options for measures to reduce carbon footprint. - offer advice on projects designed to support parishes and schools in relation to net zero
carbon, such as energy audits, including support on options, permissions, and funding. - provide environmental guidance and technical support to the NDBF and PCCs.
- maintain awareness of resources and funding opportunities available.
