60180000 – AG-ENVIRONMENTAL HORTICULTURE

Primary duties will include:

• Assist in the development and delivery of therapeutic horticulture programming for UF students (UFSTH)
• Liaise with UF’s Counseling & Wellness Center to promote the program and coordinate counselor and student recruitment
• Assist in the development of additional interdisciplinary nature-based opportunities with other programs and departments at UF
• Coordinate and manage volunteers
• Support UFSTH research studies; Promote UFSTH program and recruit participants
• Maintain daily records and document program output and progress

Additional duties will include:

• Support additional TH programming as needed
• Manage greenhouse plants for programming
• Assist in grant writing and TH program development
• Promote TH and HT to the UF and Gainesville communities and beyond

$20 – $26, hourly, based on education and experience

Bachelor’s degree in an appropriate area and two years of relevant experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Preference will be given to those with professional registration with the American Horticultural Therapy Association and/or training and experience in horticultural therapy programming.
