Position: Executive Assistant
Location: Brussels
Reports to: CEO
We are seeking a dynamic and highly organized Executive Assistant to support our CEO in a fast-paced and mission-driven environment. As the Executive Assistant, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring seamless operations and effective communication at the executive level.
Responsibilities
1. Comprehensive Support: Act as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders in matters pertaining to the CEO, providing high-level administrative assistance to enhance their efficiency and effectiveness.
2. Administrative Tasks: Undertake a diverse range of administrative tasks to facilitate the CEO’s leadership, including calendar management, travel coordination, and document preparation.
3. Liaison to the Board of Directors: Serve as a key liaison between the CEO and the Board of Directors, ensuring smooth communication and coordination of activities.
4. Special Projects: Contribute to special projects that align with organizational goals, demonstrating creativity and problem-solving skills.
5. Communications: Support the Communications Manager with the preparations of the monthly newsletter, updates on the website and reporting.
6. Office Services and Information Systems: support aspects of office services and information systems operations to ensure a well-functioning work environment.
7. Event Management Support: Provide support in planning and executing events, meetings, and other engagements involving the CEO and members.
8. Team Communication: Facilitate effective communication within the team, fostering collaboration and a positive working environment.
Qualifications:
- Multinational Environment: Enjoy working within a small, multinational environment that is committed, mission-driven, and results-oriented.
- Prioritization Skills: Maintain a realistic balance among multiple priorities, demonstrating the ability to exercise reasonable judgment, even under pressure.
- Independence: Work independently on projects, taking ownership and driving initiatives forward.
- Flexibility: Adapt to evolving priorities and requirements, showcasing flexibility in approach and solutions.
- Language Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills in English. French skills a strong asset.
- Administrative and Organizational Skills: Possess excellent administrative and organizational skills to ensure efficiency and accuracy in tasks.
- Have the right to work and reside in the European Union.
