Reports to: Head of Freshwater

Salary: £32,000 – £35,000 per annum (depending on experience)

Contract: Fixed term until April 2026
Hours:
37.5 per week

Based at: Elm Tree Court, Devizes with some home working available

The Trust is seeking a highly motivated and personable individual to join our ambitious and
successful Water Team. You will play a key role in preparing, managing and delivering our
prestigious river and wetland restoration projects and join a dynamic team within a charity
committed to nature’s recovery across Wiltshire.

Within the Water Team you will work with the Head of Freshwater to deliver the Wylye Chalk
Stream Project – Round 2 of Defra’s Landscape Recovery scheme. This ambitious partnership
project is looking to restore natural functioning and biodiversity to the River Wylye on a
scale never seen before in our chalk river catchments. You will have the opportunity to work
with range of enthusiastic stakeholders, from farmers and angling clubs to other eNGOs,
corporates and statutory bodies.

We would love to hear from you if you have knowledge and experience of working with a wide
range of stakeholders to deliver projects in the freshwater environment. We also welcome
applications from those with knowledge and experience of hydromorphology and geomorphology,
private finance markets for ecosystem services, or environmental project management and design.
