Retrofit Project Manager

More than 85% of our homes have an energy efficiency rating of EPC band C or above and we’ve
recently secured a Social Housing Decarbonisation Fund allocation to support our objective of
upgrading all our housing stock to this standard by 2030. We’re kick-starting our grant-funded
programme by retrofitting 135 homes within the first stage. As part of this, we’re putting
together a new and ambitious team with the right skills, knowledge and experience to help us
achieve our goal of enhancing the sustainability of our homes, improving comfort for residents,
tackling fuel poverty, and minimising our carbon footprint.

We’re looking for a driven Retrofit Project Manager who’s passionate about achieving great
outcomes for customers and supporting our sustainability goals.

Our properties are located across the West of England. 

What you’ll do 

As our first Retrofit Project Manager, you will join an agile and diverse organisation,
delivering a range of energy and decarbonisation improvements to our homes. This is a great
opportunity for the right individual to shape this role. 

You will take the lead in retrofit projects from design specification, to procurement, and
final sign off, while maintaining strong relationships with customers, colleagues, and
stakeholders. You will lead the way in making sure that our customers have warmer, more energy
efficient homes.

What we’re looking for 

Already experienced in managing energy efficiency and decarbonisation of customers’ homes, you
will be an expert in energy programmes, carbon reduction and technologies. You will also be
highly skilled in working with contractors and consultants. 

You will have strong financial and commercial acumen, such as proactive investment and Value
For Money, and you’ll make sure that retrofit projects are delivered in full compliance to the
required standards, to budget and on time. 

You must be passionate about the environment, an advocate for sustainability; your role is to
promote awareness among customers and colleagues on how to save money and reduce our carbon
footprint.
