Lead end-to-end publishing for IsDB Group Chief Economist’s outputs, ensuring high quality and adherence to IsDB branding guidelines. Manage projects, collaborate with authors, create visuals, and coordinate with stakeholders and printers for efficient publishing across print and digital platforms.

- Lead the end-to-end desktop publishing process encompassing both digital and print formats for all publications of the IsDB Group Chief Economist.
- Conceptualize, design, and layout publications, ensuring a visually appealing and adherence to branding guidelines.
- Design visually compelling covers, flyers, and promotional materials to support publication launches and events.
- Create short video clips for awareness of product offerings and enhance knowledge-sharing
- Effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously, adhenng to timelines and deadlines.
- Collaborate closely with authors to understand oontent requirements and appropriately integrate visual elements.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders to gather necessary information and approvals for publication projects.
- Coordinate with printers where necessary to ensure high-quality print publications.
- Proactively identity opportunities for process improvement and implement best practices to enhance efficiency and quality in desktop publishing activities.
Academic and professional qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, creative arts, business administration, marketing, information management or any relevant discipline.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a design role for a global organization or business, with demonstrated success.
- Experience working as part of a larger marketing team.
Skills & Necessary Knowledge:
- Must be proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop.
- Strong interest in creative design.
- Ability to quickly respond to a brief and deliver content that satisfies creative and strategic objectives.
- Ability to work to quick turnaround times.
- High attention to detail and quality control.
- Understanding and knowledge on the latest design trends and software.
- Knowledge of the publishing industry
- Knowledge of publication life cycle
- Knowledge of publishing standards and publications management
