Why Your Role Matters:

As the Senior Administrative Officer, Graduations & Prizes you will take an active role and focus on undertaking and managing a range of processes, related to the conferral of awards and the planning and execution of graduation ceremonies.

You will have a broad range of knowledge and expertise across all matters relating to graduation and student records and will be expected to provide expert advice and support, manage complex issues relating to the management of student records and conferral of awards, undertake processing and projects where required, and assist with the supervision of 4 Administrative Officers when required.

Who You Are:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experiencedSeniorAdministrator, confident in their skills in planning, problem solving and time management.  They will be well organised, but also agile, able to manage competing priorities with ease.  Our ideal candidate is passionate about higher education and is excited to work on graduation ceremonies!

  • Relevant tertiary qualification with subsequent relevant experience or equivalent competence gained through any combination of education, training and experience.
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills, and the ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple tasks with competing deadlines.
  • Demonstrated ability to supervise, influence and guide staff.
  • Highly advanced interpersonal, written and oral communication skills.
  • Demonstrated experience providing effective customer service and support to clients at all levels.
  • Highly proficient computer literacy with excellent skills in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to plan, organise and co-ordinate projects and tasks.
  • Proven ability in interpreting and applying policy and procedures.
