Job Description | General Description: This position is responsible for providing security and safety functions on the NVCC campuses and all property owned by the College and to provide a safe and secure environment. The NOVA Police Department is established as a college-wide entity with the responsibility to maintain safety and security of all employees, students and visitors, and property owned or controlled by the College. As such, all police department employees are subject to short-term and long-term reassignments that may include different locations, rotating schedules and duties dependent on the needs of the department and/or staff professional development.
