Doctors with Africa CUAMM is the first Italian healthcare-focused NGO officially recognized by Italian authorities.
Founded in 1950 with the aim of training doctors to work in developing countries, Doctors with Africa CUAMM is working in Angola, Ethiopia, Mozambique, Sierra Leone, South Sudan, Tanzania, Uganda and the Central African Republic implementing healthcare projects in partnership with local governments and institutions.

REQUIREMENTS
- Proven professional experience in logistics; possession of a qualification in Humanitarian Logistics will be considered favourably
- Good knowledge of French
- Previous experience in logistics in fragile countries and/or low resources settings
- Problem-solving aptitude and organizational skills
KEY DUTIES
The Logistics Coordinator ensures the smooth functioning of logistics in the country, in support of ongoing projects.
The specific tasks are:
- support the Country Manager in implementing the country Security Plan, with special attention to transportation, housing and offices
- ensure the adequacy and ordinary maintenance of offices and staff accommodation
- manage and document the procurement of medicines, consumables and equipment, in compliance with NGO and donors procedures and in collaboration with the logisticians of the various projects sites
- supervise and ensure the proper functioning and maintenance of vehicles
- ensure the traceability of purchases
- organize and coordinate staff transfers and material transport
- manage and monitor the smooth functioning of communication tools
- elaborate a monthly report of logistics activities
- coordinate, supervise and train logisticians or logistics assistants of the various sites
- ensure proper documentation of activities carried out for reporting purposes
