Build your career with IU Health!  We have an exciting opportunity available for a Grants Administration Coordinator to join the Grants and Development Office team at our Methodist Hospital.

The Grant Administration Coordinator supports a portfolio of sponsored program funding from Federal & State agencies, industry, and private foundations. Develops strategic relationships, understands our customer’s business requirements, and balances those needs and expectations against the capabilities of the system. Identifies the significant intra and extramural funding related issues and escalates when appropriate. Provides technical assistance to applicants applying for external funding and functions as grants management expert by providing consultative services to all the IU Health network hospitals. Tracks and monitors awarded funds to provide effective control over and accountability for extramural funding, property and assets.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required.

  • Requires ability to interpret and explain laws, rules, regulations and policies.

  • Requires proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).

  • Requires the ability to conduct comprehensive needs assessment and strategic planning.

  • Requires the ability to network at federal, state, and local levels.

  • Requires 0-3 years of relevant experience; experience in grant and funding development (laws, regulations and agency practices) is preferred.
