- Provide clinical supervision to members of the speech pathology team within the Outreach AnglicareSA Therapeutic Services (OATS)

Who are we looking for?
An experienced and motivated Speech Pathologist who is passionate about making a difference in the lives of children, young people and adults living with a disability.
Outreach AnglicareSA Therapeutic Services (OATS) provides specialist intervention, education and therapy services to children, young people and adults within education, community, and work settings.

Utilising your exceptional interpersonal skills, you will work within a multi-disciplinary team to develop and support the delivery of high-quality individualised therapeutic services focused on the needs of each customer and support across their activities of daily living. You will share your knowledge and support the development of members of the speech pathology team through clinical supervision and mentorship.
What can you expect to be doing?
- Supervise up to three Speech Pathologists and deliver Speech Pathology-specific training to internal and external stakeholders.
- Deliver efficient and effective Speech Pathology to children/young people/adults living with a disability.
- Assess the needs of the children/young people/adults and develop plans accordingly.
- Provide written reports, including recommendations to colleagues, families, and other professionals.
- Work collaboratively with other agencies, health service providers and therapists to achieve goals facilitating a holistic service approach.
- Communicate directly with National Disability Insurance Agency and other relevant funding bodies.
What do you need to bring?
- Bachelor or Master’s degree in Speech Pathology.
- Membership with Speech Pathology Australia.
- Minimum of three years working within the speech pathology discipline.
- Knowledge of a range of developmental delays and disorders.
- Knowledge of relevant clinical assessments, interventions, conceptual frameworks and practice models relevant to children, young people and adults with a disability.
- Previous experience providing speech pathology intervention to children, young people and adults with complex communication needs (desirable).
- Previous experience providing clinical supervision (desirable).
