Unit Position Summary
This position provides proactive operational and administrative support through efficient management of processes and records, as well as performing tasks associated with the Center’s growing research, education, and outreach programs, such as:
- creating and maintaining travel records and associated meetings/events
- maintaining databases associated with performance metrics and marketing
- processing and maintaining enrollment/completion records for non-credit courses
- pulling and reporting on financial and operational information.
- compiling documents/records and submitting financial and HR processes, including but not limited to travel reimbursements, disbursement vouchers, purchase orders, vendor invoicing, time entry, hiring/termination processes, reappointments.
- assisting with the management of processes and records with center partners, and boards/councils.
- administering the supplies of center, shipping/mailing processes, and the A-CAPP email.
- coordinating other operational and administrative functions of the center.
This position is a temporary position that has the opportunity to become a permanent full time position given the right candidate. The A-CAPP Center is expanding its programs and looking for a candidate who will excell at the duties described and also take on new duties as the programs grows.
Desired Qualifications
Three to five years of related and progressively more responsible or expansive work experience providing broad administrative support in a fast-paced environment; ability to multi-task and prioritize work to meet deadlines with little supervision and willingness to adapt to a changing environment; demonstrated organizational, communication and interpersonal skills; problem solver; practical experience working with policies, procedures, financial documents and industry customers; ability to assemble, organize, and effectively summarize large amounts of information; good working knowledge of desktop PC applications (MS Office; Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, Project or equivalent software).
