Background

Public Aid Organization –PAO; is a non-governmental, independent, non-profit and public utility organization. It works according to its humanitarian values in order to improve and settle the principles of human rights, establishing a developed civil society. This will be done by carrying out the developing and permanent programs and projects as it is guided by the United Nations’ declaration concerning the third millennium. PAO established in 1992 well rooted and present with offices in all Iraq.   

Field Officer at SAD-Tikrit 

 Job description:

1-            Engage with community members to understand their needs, concerns, and aspirations related to social cohesion.

2-            Organize, and facilitate various activities such as workshops, discussions, cultural events, and sports activities designed to promote social cohesion.

3-            Establish and maintain effective communication channels with community leaders, and stakeholders to support project objectives.

4-            Collect relevant data and feedback from community members

5-            Maintain accurate records of project activities, including attendance, participant feedback, and any relevant documentation.

6-            Communicate regularly with project coordinators and team members to provide updates on field activities, challenges, and successes.

Qualifications & Preferred Skills

1-  Holding at least bachelor degree

2-  Previous experience in community engagement, project implementation, or related fields preferred.

3-  Communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse groups of people.

4-  Proficiency in local languages spoken in the community.

 

5-  Commitment to the principles of social cohesion, diversity, and inclusion.
