Who are we looking for?
A proactive and improvement-oriented Finance Business Partner to lead a team of two Accountants within our Disability Services portfolio. In this full-time permanent position based at our Hindmarsh Head Office, you will partner with portfolio leaders to deliver financial solutions aligned with strategic priorities.
As our successful Finance Business Partner, you will provide meaningful information to portfolio leaders, promote finance best practices, and support financial planning in consultation with stakeholders. Additionally, you will actively contribute to forecasting, budgeting, and finance-related projects with your innovative ideas, attention to detail and focus on data integrity.
What can you expect to be doing?
- Provide leadership, direction, mentoring and support to the team to support a high-performance culture with a focus on innovative business improvement ideology.
- Partner with portfolio leaders to deliver financial solutions aligned with strategic priorities.
- Cultivate engagement with internal teams, through professional service, quality advice and innovative ideas.
- Ensure data accuracy and assist your team in identifying and providing valuable insights for the business.
- Analyse financial results to provide meaningful information to portfolio leaders.
What do you need to bring?
- Australian Accredited Degree in Accounting or related field (essential).
- Membership of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia or CPA Australia (essential).
- A strong understanding of the accounting and financial regulatory environment within Disability Services sector (highly desirable).
- Ability to think innovatively and collaboratively to problem solve and develop strategic and operational plans.
- Experience providing high level business accounting services and financial advice within a large and diverse not for profit environment.
- Experience with data visualisation and process automation tools such as Power BI and Power Automate (desirable).
