Job Description:

Facilitates sessions surrounding current and proposed processes to ensure engagement with functional owners, subject matter experts, and end-user representatives. Works closely with other workstream leads and business partners to understand business processes, goals, and gaps. Assesses current financial policies and procedures and, from that, develops the ideal workflow to be used with the new system.

Learns key software capabilities and how they can be applied for reporting to meet the needs of stakeholders across the enterprise and provides input into design of business solutions. Assists with testing and the development and implementation of end-user training.

Develops and tracks project requirements, project phasing, and schedule for relevant area to ensure tasks and deliverables are completed timely.  Assists with problem solving to overcome obstacles encountered by the team and elevates issues to project manager when necessary. Regularly communicates project status to project manager and Empowering UF team.

Leads the needs assessment, gap analysis, design, implementation, and continued optimization of planning & budgeting.  Develops a strong understanding of the wide variety of activities and needs, identifies commonalities and exceptions, and designs solutions that address the comprehensive needs of the enterprise.

Expected Salary:

Commensurate with education and experience

Minimum Requirements:

Master’s degree in an appropriate area of specialization and six years of appropriate experience; or a bachelor’s degree in an appropriate area of specialization and eight years of appropriate experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in implementing and configuring a large-scale ERP, including setup and maintenance of financial structures, chart of accounts, and accounting rules.
  • Strong understanding of financial processes, accounting principles and financial reporting
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think through issues and provide alternate, well-defined solutions
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in all aspects of Microsoft Office, especially Excel
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on delivering high-quality results within established timelines.
  • Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and meet project deadlines
