ROLE SUMMARY

The Digital Health Solutions Development Team lead will build and lead a dynamic team of Digital Health Leads , driving the strategic development and implementation of cutting-edge digital health solutions that bridge the gap between technology and healthcare.
This visionary leader will foster collaboration across teams within medical, Global Digital, Legal/Compliance, commercial/CMO, R&D , and other functions using his/her extensive experience in digital product management, product development , and business operations to drive the development of innovative digital health solutions and prepare commercialization.

The incumbent will utilize a solid background in leading high-impact projects in technology-driven companies to steer the digital transformation in the pharmaceutical industry. The ideal candidate will have a visionary mindset, a proven track record in leading technology-driven initiatives, and the ability to foster cross-functional collaboration to revolutionize healthcare through digital innovation.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Overseeing the strategy and execution of digital health technology initiatives , ensuring they align with the company’s vision, relevant internal processes and healthcare industry standards / regulations.
  • Leading a team of 6 Digital Health Leads which are responsible for the execution of prioritized DHS concepts
  • Collaborating closely with Medical Leadership, Commercial Leadership, and Digital Leadership teams to ensure integrated and cohesive digital health strategies.
  • Leveraging extensive experience in product management, product development, and business operations to drive the creation and commercialization of innovative digital health solutions.
  • Utilizing a solid background in leading high-impact projects in technology-driven companies to steer the digital transformation in the pharmaceutical industry.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

Candidate demonstrates a breadth of diverse leadership experiences and capabilities including: the ability to influence and collaborate with peers, develop and coach others, oversee and guide the work of other colleagues to achieve meaningful outcomes and create business impact.

  • Bachelors required and 15+ years’ experience; Masters and 13+; PharmD/PHD and 8+; MD and 5+
  • Robust educational background with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and/or a Master of Business Administration, providing a solid foundation in both technical and business domains.
  • Minimum of 15 years’ experience in technology-focused organizations, with a strong background in product management, product development , and business operations in multidisciplinary environments.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective stakeholder engagement.
  • Innovative thinker with a passion for digital healthcare solutions.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Proven experience in senior leadership roles, such as Chief Operating Officer, overseeing product development and operations.
  • Demonstrated expertise in managing high-stakes projects and building development paths within technological companies.
  • Previous experience in a significant role at a global company, managing business operations, and spearheading commercialization and expansion efforts.
  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively with various departments and stakeholders, including Medical Leadership, Commercial Leadership, and Digital Leadership, to drive digital health technology initiatives..
  • Strong educational foundation in Computer Science, Medical Informatics or similar, providing the analytical and business acumen required for this senior leadership role.

The annual base salary for this position ranges from $205,400.00 to $342,400.00. In addition, this position is eligible for participation in Pfizer’s Global Performance Plan with a bonus target of 25.0% of the base salary and eligibility to participate in our share based long term incentive program.
