Programme Manager (Wye Valley – Ridge to River Project)

Fixed term contract for 2 years
Location: The focus of the role is Herefordshire. There is flexibility for
home working and opportunity to hot desk at an office in the Hereford area when needed.

As our Programme Manager you will lead the exciting Wye Valley – Ridge to River landscape scale
project aiming for a mosaic of woodlands, parkland, meres, farmland and floodplains that
provide food, boost biodiversity and protect waterways in the Wye Valley, Herefordshire.

You will be responsible for the delivery of the project’s initial two-year development phase.
You will prepare and implement a project plan including managing timeframes, budgets,
deliverables, risks, resources, procurement and activities needed to achieve the projects aims.

You will operate as the central focal point and ambassador of the project, manage the programme
of works of the third-party contractors and consultants, and work to develop a blended finance
model to secure long term investment.
