This role will work extensively with community partners (PCSAO and ODJFS Children’s Services) to assist individuals in training and technical assistance related to the Needs Portal, create reports, and conduct analyses of related data. This person will conduct literature reviews, participate in developing manuscripts for publication, conduct data collection activities using a variety of modalities, and updating the project website. The successful applicant will have significant experience using the Needs Portal, strong professional and effective verbal and written communication skills, strong interpersonal skills, the ability to work and communicate with various individuals from a broad spectrum of disciplines, technical and educational backgrounds within the school and university, and with individuals outside the university.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience. 1-2 years of relevant experience required.
- Significant experience using the Needs Portal
- Strong organization skills; ability to multitask, prioritize and meet deadlines. Must demonstrate attention to detail and accuracy, time management skills, and proven ability to successfully follow through on assigned projects.
- Strong, professional and effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills; ability to work and communicate with various individuals from a broad spectrum of disciplines, technical and educational backgrounds within the school and university, and with individuals outside the university.
Desired Qualifications
2-4 years of relevant experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Assist the research staff in maintaining and conducting training and technical assistance for the Needs Portal for the Ohio START project, clean and interpret data, maintain the study website, participate in developing and writing manuscripts
- Other research related-activities such as collecting data that could inform the Ohio START project, such as developing and administering surveys, conducting literature reviews, creating outward-facing projects (e.g., infographics)
- Other duties as assigned
