Are you a seasoned professional in Mechanical and Electrical (M&E) contracts management with a proven track record in delivering successful projects within the aviation, commercial, and life sciences sectors? If so, we want you to be a key player in our dynamic team!
Key Responsibilities:
As our Senior M&E Contracts Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing a portfolio of projects within the aviation, commercial, and life sciences domains in London and surrounding areas. Your expertise in NEC4 will be pivotal in ensuring the successful execution of contracts from inception to completion.
Requirements:
- Solid experience in M&E contracts management, particularly with NEC4 contracts.
- Demonstrated success in delivering projects within the aviation, commercial, and life sciences sectors.
- Proven ability to effectively manage project budgets, schedules, and resources.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills, fostering positive relationships with clients, subcontractors, and project teams.
- Thorough understanding of industry regulations and compliance standards.
- Lead contract negotiations and ensure favorable terms and conditions for the organization.
- Collaborate with project teams to establish project goals, timelines, and deliverables in alignment with contractual obligations.
- Monitor project progress, identifying potential risks, and implementing effective mitigation strategies.
- Conduct regular site visits to assess work progress, quality, and compliance with contractual specifications.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, subcontractors, and regulatory authorities.
- Oversee the preparation of accurate and detailed project reports, providing insights into project performance and financial metrics.
- Implement and enforce rigorous project controls to ensure compliance with NEC4 contracts.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior members of the contracts management team.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, changes in regulations, and emerging technologies relevant to aviation, commercial, and life sciences projects.
- Act as a liaison between project teams and legal counsel, ensuring that contracts are legally sound and in compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
- Collaborate with the procurement team to manage subcontractor relationships, ensuring adherence to contractual requirements.
- Conduct regular reviews of contract documents to identify areas for improvement and efficiency.
Qualifications:
- Relevant degree or professional qualifications in engineering, construction management, or a related field.
- Extensive experience in a similar role, showcasing your proficiency in NEC4 contracts.
- Familiarity with the unique challenges and intricacies of aviation, commercial, and life sciences projects.
