Salary £40,000 per annum

Role Requirements:

+ This is a full-time position, based in central London, not suitable for those wanting to relocate

+ Some travel around country and continent (limited) for school/partnership talks/events/presentations

+ Ability to commute to the office at least 3x per week (in-office required)

+ Start date: 1 March or closest

What this role is responsible for:

+ Developing and implementing a strategic plan to sell Crimson products and services in educational institutions, and relevant corporates.

+ Achieving agreed upon sales targets and outcomes for school customers and partners.

+ Identifying and interacting engage potential new customers and partners in line with the Crimson’s goals and strategies.

+ Establishing rapport with new partners via phone, email and in-person visits and drop-offs to initiate sales and partnership discussions.

+ Presenting, promoting and pitching Crimson products and services to customers and partners at school talks, events, career fairs, corporate product pitch meetings.

+ Nurturing potential customers and partners through: email nurturing drips; ongoing communication about Crimson activities, competitions, events etc.; Crimson marketing material; Monthly Crimson Newsletter

+ Establishing, developing and maintaining positive, professional customer and partner interactions and relationships.

+ Maintaining records and accounts of sales made and handling of customer complaints and resolution of these.

+ Acting as a key point of contact for customers and partners, maintaining ongoing communication, addressing any issues or queries, and ensuring a high level of customer and partner satisfaction throughout and after the sales process

+ Making follow up visits to customers and partners to ensure satisfaction with Crimson’s products and services to increase sales through referrals and direct lead generation.

+ Monitoring and reporting on the effectiveness of partnerships, making recommendations for improvements as needed.

+ Continuously improving sales and business development techniques and enhancing industry knowledge.

Business Development & Lead Generation:

+ Working with the local area marketing and digital team to develop/enhance lead generation methods by identifying opportunities for school and partner campaigns, services, events and distribution channels that will lead to an increase in leads and sales

+ Engaging in outreach activities such as presenting at school talks, career expos, webinars, seminars etc. to increase leads and sales

+ Sourcing potential markets and organisations for lead generation/partnerships.

+ Attending industry events where relevant and provide feedback and information.

Sales Administration:

+ Ensuring that data is diligently and accurately managed with Crimson’s CRM system for all school leads, customers and partners.

+ Ensure of UK/Europe’s Sales Data Analysis is complete and up to date for management

+ Helping training new sales staff whenever relevant.

+ Providing feedback and suggestions on how to improve sales processes.

+ Producing reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential new products and services

Qualifications/Skills/Experience:

+ Degree (preferably business focused).

+ Proven experience in sales, within an educational context.

+ Proven business development experience.

+ Strong understanding of the educational landscape and the specific needs and challenges of educational institutions.

+ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships.

+ Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with a demonstrated ability to identify opportunities for lead generation and sales.

+ Ability to travel as needed in the UK and Europe.
