The Portfolio Governance Coordinator will be responsible for providing operational expertise to drive the planning and execution of the Pfizer Oncology Governance document management/review process. The successful candidate serves as a liaison for teams on the Oncology governance process and assists teams in planning and preparation for governance document review. They will lead the generation and reconciliation of reviews for protocols and other relevant documentation as required by standard processes. Additionally, the successful candidate will support the development of metrics to support compliance and impact/trend analysis across reviews, use process experience and expertise to implement process workflow improvements and efficiencies,

How You Will Achieve It?

  • Provide support for streamlined and efficient governance processes across Pfizer Oncology
  • Works with the Oncology Clinical Governance Lead to lead the Development Review Committee document review process for the quality and efficient delivery of reviews supporting the endorsement of Protocols, Quality Management Plans, and other relevant documents.
  • Serves as subject matter expert on the clinical document review process; leads template revisions as required.
  • Serves as BPO for Please Review and Governance Management Portal; Responsible for training team members, addressing technical issues, and leading system updates.
  • Serves as liaison between governance board members and teams providing clear communication and direction on goals and objectives for document review completion.
  • Reviews and summarizes project timelines to ensure appropriate planning for governance document reviews and works closely with the Oncology Clinical Governance Lead to proactively plan for governance reviews and interactions.
  • Conduct routine and ad hoc business analytics for senior leaders.
  • Develop and implement new processes to streamline portfolio delivery and governance.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years research or clinical experience with a BS degree.
  • Knowledge of overall drug discovery and development processes.
  • Well-developed analytical and problem-solving skills with proven ability to solve complex problems thru iterative analysis.
  • Advanced experience with document management tools and systems.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a willingness to solve complex business objectives thru iterative problem solving.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 8+ years of research or clinical experience with a MS degree.
  • Life sciences, pharmacy graduate or equivalent preferred. Advanced academic qualifications/degree an advantage but not essential.
  • Internal knowledge of Pfizer processes, systems and organization considered a plus.

The annual base salary for this position ranges from $83,500.00 to $139,100.00. In addition, this position is eligible for participation in Pfizer’s Global Performance Plan with a bonus target of 10.0% of the base salary.
