The Interpersonal Violence Prevention Coordinator is part of the Wellness Resource Center, within the Division of Health & Well-Being. The Interpersonal Violence Prevention Coordinator serves as the campus lead specialist in the areas of addressing and preventing sexual assault, sexual harassment, intimate partner and dating violence, and stalking. The Interpersonal Violence Prevention Coordinator uses evidence-based interventions and practices to improve the well-being and individual students, student groups, and campus communities within the University. The Interpersonal Violence Prevention Coordinator is responsible for the planning and delivery of training for students, faculty, and staff and works to inform students of the wide variety of support resources available at Temple University and in the community. The Interpersonal Violence Prevention Coordinator aims to promote safety and respect and increase the capacity of faculty, staff, and students to support a campus community free of harm.
Key functions of this position include design and delivery of workshops, events, training programs, project management, program evaluation and assessment, co-instruction of peer education public health course, and general administrative duties. The Interpersonal Violence Prevention Coordinator leads the Interpersonal Violence Prevention workgroup, a cross-departmental committee aimed at promoting prevention and raising awareness. Performs other duties as assigned. This position is primarily in-person and on-campus and may be eligible for hybrid remote work (one day per week) after the probationary period.

Required Education & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Public Health, Social Work, Higher Education, or related field and three year experience in in interpersonal violence prevention and education practice or related field. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

Required Skills & Abilities:
•Demonstrated ability to coordinate and conduct health education programs for university students with a specific focus on addressing and prevention interpersonal violence. 
•Demonstrated ability to educate and supervise undergraduate student peer educators in lesson content, program development, implementation strategies, evaluation of programming and peer interactions.
•Ability to work evening and occasional weekend hours, and travel to offsite campus locations that may not be accessible via public transportation.
•Strong interpersonal, presentation, and communication skills.
•Demonstrated ability to handle and prioritize diverse tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred:
•Master’s degree in Public Health, Social Work, Higher Education, or related field. 
•Experience in community education.
