IMPACT Junior Data Officer is responsible for data processing and data transformation activities, data visualization activities, confidentiality and data protection.

FUNCTIONS
The Junior Data Officer will be responsible for the following tasks:
1) Data processing/Data transformation activities
To be responsible for:
• Supervision of all data related processes before the beginning, during and after data collection;
• Providing data analysis support to the IMPACT office including but not limited to data cleaning, data processing, data analysis and data visualization;
• Ensuring timely delivery of cleaned datasets and overall data quality control;
• Supporting the development of internal IMPACT procedures and guidelines.
2) Data visualization activities
To support development of interactive products based on IMPACT data and data provided by IMPACT partners. This support will include development of interactive product concept, design and functionality.
3) Internal Communication Processes
To work closely with IMPACT GIS/DB Manager, IMPACT Senior Data officer and IMPACT GIS Officer in country to guarantee a quality of all IMPACT products.
4) Confidentiality and Data Protection
To maintain the strictest confidentiality of data and processes. He/she will actively take measures to prevent the unauthorized sharing of information and data.
Qualifications
Education
- Experience in a sphere of social sciences, data science or information management is desirable but not required.
Technical requirements:
- Experience with Excel is an asset.
- Prior experience in the humanitarian sector desirable but not required.
- Prior experience using R, PowerBI or any other similar tools is needed.
- Fluency in Ukrainian and good English required.
- Highly motivated and passionate about improving the humanitarian response in Ukraine
