Senior HR Systems & Project Officer

• Full time, Continuing Position
• Position to be based at La Trobe University’s Melbourne (Bundoora)
• $97,248 – $106,980 Base + 17% superannuation 

About the position

The Senior HR Systems and Project Officer problem solves complex HR System issues by using knowledge of HR business processes and system maintenance experience to resolve issues quickly and accurately to enable the business and wider HR Services teams to complete their workload.

Core responsibilities of the role include the analysis and interpretation of data, identification of trends and test solutions, sourcing additional related information where appropriate, to support the resolution of issues/problems, maintenance of the systems, reporting, testing, and deployment ensuring primary level support for SAP, Success Factors, Employee Central, PageUp, Workforce and SAP Litmos.

Skills and Experience

To be considered for this position, you will have;

• Demonstrated experience working with, and providing first level operational support to, complex HR Management and Payroll systems
• In depth understanding of SAP, SuccessFactors and/or Workforce will be an advantage
• Strong knowledge of HR and Payroll processes with a comprehensive understanding of Employee Hire to Retire processes.
• Strong current experience working with Excel with the ability to generate reports, analyse and present data using pivot tables and complex functions.

• Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain positive working relationships with internal and external stakeholders (including vendors) and communicate effectively on a range of sensitive and complex issues, including the ability to negotiate, motivate, influence and build relationships.
• Working knowledge of service management tools such as Service Now and utilising the tool to capture issues and develop relevant metrics as required.
• Ability to innovate and take responsibility for outcomes.
