The University of North Georgia is currently accepting applications for a Parking Services Associate on the Dahlonega campus. This position is in the office of Parking & Transportation services a division of Auxiliary Services. This position serves as the primary customer service point of contact for the Parking & Transportation Department. Duties may include but not limited to customer service inquires, complaints in person, by email or phone. Receive parking citation payments, vendor permits and request for parking account updates and corrections. Knowledge of AIMS parking software, Microsoft word, Banner, running reports in AIMS for the daily deposits online/ in office, and make deposits to the Business Office. Assist with the maintenance of parking lots, and decks, installing or removing parking signs. The position requires flexible hours to assist with events on campus to include, driving shuttle bus, greet and assist guest entering and leaving parking lots, and decks as needed. Work schedule during summer semester is subject to change.


  • Operate AIMS parking software, enforce parking codes, assist F/S, Students, Vendors, Community members and Visitors. Assist the Parking and Transportation Manager with training parking staff, with updated software. Issue student, F/S, Vendor permits.
  • Monitor all campus parking lots and decks to ensure maintenance and updates of striping and signage to the Parking & Transportation Manager. Assist the Parking and Transportation manager with training staff.
  • Making Daily deposits. 
  • Working events, painting & re-striping parking lots, installing parking signs and or removing signs,
  • Excellent interpersonal, customer service, and teamwork skills required. Knowledge of customer service standards, parking rules and regulations, and procedures at events.
  • Performs miscellaneous job – related duties as assigned.

  • Thorough knowledge and understanding of traffic rules and regulations. 
  • Great planning, organizational, & multi-tasking skills. 
  • Excellent customer Service oriented with advanced interpersonal and communication skills required. 
  • Adheres to strong code of ethics. 
  • Keen critical thinking skills.
  • Ability to prioritize demanding and changing workload. 
  • Ability to manage high stress situations. 
  • Working outside in extreme weather conditions for extended periods at a time for assisting with events and maintenance of parking decks and lots.
  • Moderate physical activity. 
  • Requires handling of average-weight objects up to twenty-five pounds or standing and/or walking for more than four (4) hours.
