Business Analyst – North Geelong

The role:

As Business Analyst, based in our North Geelong office, you will ensure a strong focus on planning, forecasting and analysis to assist Gateways Support Services to meet performance targets.

You will be responsible for business partnering (financial and non-financial) and will work with the leaders to complete the planning, and forecasting processes, operational analysis, strategic advice, and cross-functional collaboration to deliver operational and organisational requirements with a continuous improvement mindset.

The successful candidate will demonstrate:

• Excellent communication and engagement skills, plus the ability to balance provision of support, advice and direction appropriately to non-financial managers.
• The ability to understand complex business problems and opportunities and develop solutions that enable Gateways to achieve its goals based on thorough financial and operational planning and analysis.
• Proven experience in a business partnering role or as a Performance Analyst, focused on improving business in a medium to large organisation.
• Highly developed commercial, analytical, conceptual and problem-solving skills including comprehensive financial and analysis skills.
• Sound finance and accounting competency with knowledge and understanding of accounting requirements and legislation relevant to work environment, plus advanced understanding of financial statement relationships.

To be eligible for this role, you will need to present:

• A relevant tertiary qualification in IT, Business, Management Information Systems, Programming, Computer Science, or Data Science
• NDIS Workers Screening Check Clearance
• NDIS Workers Orientation module (certificate of completion)
• Working with Children Check (Victorian, Employee)
