We are seeking a Change and Communication Coordinator to join our family. Reporting to the Project Manager, Learning for Life Model Project and working alongside dedicated, energised, and passionate team members, this role will will help design the change plan and facilitate effective communication and managing change activities across The Smith Family. This role will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute communication strategies that support and manage change initiatives.
About our role
You will be responsible for:
- Developing and implementing communication plans to support project change initiatives.
- Coordinating with project teams and key stakeholders to identify communication needs and develop key messaging.
- Creating and distributing various communication materials, through email, presentations, project newsletter and SharePoint
- Serving as a central point of contact for change-related communications, addressing inquiries, providing clarification, and managing feedback from stakeholders.
- Assessing effectiveness of communication and adapting to meet the project needs.
About you
As well as passion for community, you will bring the following:
- High level of interpersonal communication skills
- Positive, engaging and supportive approach to helping the team
- Demonstrated experience in change management and organisational communication
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
- Completion of Tertiary qualification in Communications and related study is desirable, not essential
- Have or willing to obtain an employee Working With Children’s Check
