Surrounded by state and national forests, Cantrell Creek Trout Farm LLC (CCTF) is nestled in the beautiful mountains of western North Carolina. CCTF raises healthy rainbow, brook, and brown trout at our sustainable hatchery and production facility primarily for sport and restoration stocking in wild and private waters throughout the Southeast.

The ideal candidate enjoys working outdoors, in and around water, with people and trout, has education and experience in aquaculture and a positive, customer-focused attitude. The Farm Manager will perform/ oversee all farm duties required in the rearing of trout from egg hatching to trophy production. The Farm Manager will also be cross-trained to support the Delivery Technicians in delivering trout to customers, stocking in wild to private waters from the mountains to the coast. Additional farm duties include seasonal projects and ongoing maintenance.

Education/ experience equivalent to at least 5 years in aquaculture desired.

The Farm Manager is expected to lift materials up to 75 lbs, work indoors and outdoors, in and around water in varying climatic conditions year round. Must have clean driving record and background check. A plus to be able to drive manual transmission (higher compensation given to proficient drivers). Must have excellent math skills, be able to use Excel proficiently. Mechanical/ plumbing/ automotive/ construction skills desirable.

Schedule: Full time: rotating schedule including weekends and holidays

.Salaried position ($28-$35/hr equivalent). Salary commensurate with experience.
