Summary of Job Duties:
The Department of Supply Chain Management in the Sam M. Walton College of Business at the University of Arkansas seeks applications from interested candidates to fill a full-time Instructor position. This is a teaching- and service-focused (non-tenure track) position that offers an opportunity to teach face-to-face courses. We seek candidates with diverse skills and abilities who want to play a meaningful role in the life of Walton College and the Supply Chain Management field. The typical teaching load for a teaching faculty position is four-course teaching each semester (12 credit hours per semester).
Regular, reliable, and non-disruptive attendance is an essential job duty, as is the ability to create and maintain collegial, harmonious working relationships with others.

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications: 

• Master’s degree from an AACSB (or equivalent) accredited university conferred by the start of employment

• Must be, or willing to work toward being, classified as Practice Academic or Instructional Practitioner under AACSB guidelines – this could include engagement in professional practice through practice-based teaching, outreach, consulting, or other activities consistent with AACSB standards

• Significant supply chain management industry experience

• Some previous teaching, instruction, and/or training experience is needed

Preferred Qualifications: 

• Experience teaching courses in the areas of supply chain planning, sourcing, operations, and logistics

• Demonstrated ability to innovate and create engaging and relevant learning experiences

• Documented excellence in teaching
