Head of Service Adults Operations and Quality

Wakefield Council

Job title:

Head of Service Adults Operations and Quality

Company

Wakefield Council

Job description

In Wakefield we believe that everyone has a right to lead a life that they have reason to value and we know that our workforce is committed to working with people to help them achieve their potential. We are a system that has already made significant progress towards integrated working but we also recognise that there is more that we can do to support people to achieve the best outcomes and so we are now developing our approach to working in Neighbourhoods.

We are looking for a new Head of Service for Adult Operations and Quality to deliver and lead a broad range of older people and physical disability services. This is an exciting and critical role for our Adult Social Care service and Wakefield Health and Care system, that will see you lead on utilising our insight into the strengths, challenges and needs of our diverse communities working together with our partners to deliver even better outcomes to those that need us most.

We will look to you to be a champion of high quality practice with a focus on improved outcomes. You will be a champion of partnership and collaborative working, building upon our already strong borough-wide relationships. Our committed and caring workforce will give you the platform to drive innovation and transformation and evolve how we support residents through strengths-based practice and a focus on outcomes and learning.

We are looking for an experienced leader with a recognised social worker qualification, who is creative, and who will bring transformation that tangibly delivers positive outcomes. Working with the Wakefield Place Leadership Team and as a part of the Adult & Health Senior Leadership Team, you will be a visible leader that gives direction and impact.
