Job description
We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Technical Sales Manager to join our Speciality Chemicals business area. This role requires a strong new business approach, combined with a technical understanding of plastics.
- Develop strategic sales plans to increase sales across new and existing customers.
- Working closely with our speciality partner to further enhance our relationship.
- Maintain and develop relationships with key clients.
- Identify and pursue potential new business opportunities.
- Work closely with the team to ensure excellent customer service levels are met.
- Provide technical support to customers in conjunction with our manufacturing partners.
- Conduct market research to understand competitor activity and industry trends.
- Provide regular sales forecasts and reports to senior management.

A successful Technical Sales Manager should have:
- A degree in a science based subject, however relevant industry experience will also be considered
- A proven track record of over achieving sales targets.
- Strong technical background working with speciality chemicals, ideally within the plastics sector would be highly advantageous.
- Exceptional negotiation and communication skills.
