Position Summary:
The research assistant will work on the project “Understanding faculty’s perspectives on teaching and assessing the support provided by Enhancing Learning and Teaching in Engineering (ELATE)”.
The objectives of the research study are to:
(1) understand faculty’s perspectives on teaching and
(2) assess the support provided by ELATE and its impact in helping faculty with their teaching, and
3) improve the support and resources offered by ELATE. The study has been approved by McGill’s Research Ethics Board.
The research assistant will program a survey in Qualtrics, monitor the progress of the survey, and then clean/label the data from the survey once it has been completed.
Qualifications:
–Possesses subject matter expertise acquired through a Bachelor’s Degree.
– Has a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience to the research project or academic research experience may be deemed equivalent.
Other Qualifications:
Knowledge of French and English: McGill University is an English-language university where day to day duties may require English communication both verbally and in writing , have demonstrated experience and skill in using Qualtrics, as well as have demonstrated experience and knowledge with survey methodology.
