Context/Reporting line:

Under the overall supervision of the Head, Migration Management Division (MMD), the administrative supervision of the Head of Sub Office (HoSO) and the direct supervision of the National Program officer (MMD), the incumbent will be responsible for supporting and assisting the achievement of the objective and results of MMD portfolio as well as day to day coordination of the implementation of the activities under the Migration Management Department , the successful candidate will perform the following duties:

Core Functions / Responsibilities

  1. In close collaboration with relevant staff, support the reporting and M&E/MEAL processes of the MMD projects, activities and dynamics through the review and analysis of project activities reports, notes for file and other forms of quantitative and qualitative data of MMD programming.
  2. Analyze qualitative data from MMD programming and develop reporting and information products, such as progress and final reports, briefing papers, governorate overviews,
  3. Draft success stories for internal and external use, that demonstrate the impact of MMD programming and how it contributes to the objectives of the MMD.
  4. Provide inputs into the design of tools and mechanisms aimed at gathering quantitative and qualitative field data and improving the reporting and M&E process of field activities.
  5. Contribute to MMD efforts in development of new project ideas, concept notes and project proposals.
  6. Coordinate the preparation of upcoming MMD activities such as conferences, workshops, trainings, prepare NFFs and follow up summaries as well as participate in field missions as required.
  7. Keep abreast of the developments in the Iraqi context in the relevant thematic areas regarding Security Sector Reform, migration management, human rights protection, gender mainstreaming and other emerging, relevant topics.
  8. Coordinate the storage of MMD project data in the shared folder and ensure that information is up to date and easily accessible.
  9. Perform such other duties as may be assigned.
