About this position

The Communications Division (DCC) of the Knowledge, Innovation and Communications Sector (KIC) uses digital intelligence, data, and creativity to help position the IDB Group as the preferred partner for development in the region. DCC works with press, web, email, social media, and paid media channels to help give visibility to stories of impact in the region.

The Communications Division (DCC) is looking for a Salesforce Quality Control Assistant to ensure the quality of the information, records, documents, content, and data that are managed from the projects developed by the Capital Project – Salesforce Marketing Cloud.

The IDB’s Communications Division at KIC builds and protects the reputation of the IDB Group. From this perspective, the communication effort is focused on:

What you’ll do

The Quality Control Assistant will support the quality assurance efforts in reviewing forms, records, documents, content, and automations within the Salesforce Marketing Cloud Capital Project, ensuring they meet the project’s standards and requirements.

The Quality Control Assistant will be responsible for:

  • Assisting in the review and validation of project-related forms, records, documents, content, and automations for accuracy and quality.
  • Supporting the documentation of discrepancies, errors, and suggestions for improvements.
  • Aiding in the implementation of quality control procedures and standards under the guidance of senior staff.
  • Helping to ensure project deliverables meet IDB’s quality and compliance standards.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assist in conducting quality checks of all project-related outputs.
  • Help prepare quality control reports, documenting issues, and feedback.
  • Coordinate with project teams to address and resolve quality issues.
  • Participate in project meetings and contribute to quality improvement discussions.

 

What you’ll need

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, information technology, design and user experience, business or other related field preferred.
  • Experience: At least 1 year of relevant experience.
  • Languages: Perfect command of English and Spanish (Portuguese proficiency is also desirable).

  • Basic understanding of Salesforce platforms (Service Cloud, Communities, Marketing Cloud).
  • Basic understanding of quality assurance principles and methodologies, with a willingness to learn and apply these concepts in a project setting.
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with content creation.
  • Excellent writing/editing.
  • Superior attention to detail.

Requirements

  • Citizenship: You are a citizen of one of our 48-member countries.
  • Consanguinity: You have no family members (up to the fourth degree of consanguinity and second degree of affinity, including spouse) working at the IDB, IDB Invest, or IDB Lab.

Type of contract and duration

  • Type of contract: International Consultant Full-Time.
  • Length of contract: 12 months.
  • Work Location: On site.
