Job description
iO Associates are currently working with a leading Freight Forwarding & Logistics business that is currently looking to recruit a Business Development Manager specifically to build the company’s Contract Logistics business.
The role is fully remote, with a requirement to visit the head office once a month. It is essential that you have Contract Logistics business development experience, with a track record of hitting sales targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Generate new Contract Logistics sales by identifying and profiling new businesses to find the best solution.
- Respond to inquiries, as well as, source your own business leads through the tools and marketing given.
- Effectively describe the product/service by presenting key features of the companies services to secure new business.
- Input all new clients onto the inhouse CRM and enter your notes into the database, to schedule follow up’s and visits.
Key Experience
- Track record of selling Contract Logistics solutions.
- Generating rates and quotes.
- Customer service.
- Client dispute resolution.
- Negotiation.
