Minimum Position Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in relevant area and five (5) years of appropriate experience. Relevant experience may substitute for required education.
Special Conditions This is a 12 month position at University High School. UHS is in session for between 176 and 180 days per year. School days begin at 7:30am and end at 3:30pm Monday through Friday.
First consideration to be given to current University of Memphis employees.
Work Schedule Monday – Friday
8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
May need to work/travel beyond normal work schedule.

Hiring Range $72,000 – $105,000 per year

Duties & Responsibilities Assists in the planning and implementation of school-wide programs, policies, goals and objectives, including maintaining a positive school culture and climate; Oversees the planning and effective implementation of the Advisory program. Collaborates with the Executive Director to formulate, implement, and oversee a comprehensive school-wide culture plan which includes defining routines and expectations for both students and staff within and beyond the classroom. Develops a plan to ensure that all adults contribute to supervising public spaces, guaranteeing a safe, orderly, and respectful environment.
Duties & Responsibilities Maintains a high level of visibility during school hours to ensure a positive and welcoming school climate in order to foster inclusive environments that celebrate and accommodate diverse backgrounds and perspectives by assisting in the resolution of instructional, behavioral, and administrative challenges and opportunities and day to day school operations.
Duties & Responsibilities Develops long-lasting relationships with families; Leads the work of ensuring all new students and families receive high quality on-boarding; Leads the planning execution of specific new student interactions to help students get acclimated to the campus culture and expectations in a way that is inviting and engaging; Leads the planning and execution of specific new parent events to welcome the new parents to the campus and helps them integrate and get acclimated to the campus culture and expectations; Develops a recapture campaign to approach families that had withdrawn throughout the school year to meet goal of 90% New Student Persistence.
Duties & Responsibilities Tracks and analyzes student behavioral and attendance data to identify areas requiring school-wide support and intervention. Utilizes behavioral and attendance data to design and facilitate monthly professional development sessions, offering support to teacher teams in addressing challenges and improving their instructional practices.
Duties & Responsibilities Assists teachers in devising and executing classroom-based, developmentally appropriate interventions for individual students and groups. Offers targeted interventions for students with personal and social development needs that hinder positive behavioral outcomes. Creates and monitors social probation and other student contracts as a means to gauge and enhance student success. Collaborates with the Student Support Process, School Counselor, Social Worker, and the Student Support Team (SST) to ensure that students receive the necessary behavioral and academic interventions.
Duties & Responsibilities Assists in the coordination and supervision of extracurricular activities, and community and school-based before and after-school programs, including summer experiences.
