About the Role

The Director of Communications is a key operational leader responsible for managing the production of the CEC communication materials. In this role, the Director will focus on setting the strategy for communications and will be a key anchoring role within the organisation. This position will be required to set the strategic direction, messaging and operate as a hands-on manager to ensure the production of all communications collateral including reports for the CEC. Also critical will be the ability to embed a continuous improvement mindset across all operational aspects. Additionally, the role will lead the implementation of strategies that deliver outcomes for members.

Reporting to the Chief of Media and Communications, the role will provide operational oversight of the communications function.

About You

You will be an experienced senior leader with the proven ability to drive strategic initiatives, motivate and empower high-performing teams. Critical to your success will be your demonstrated ability to develop individuals. You will have demonstrated experience in document production, social media, messaging and visual materials.
