Skylight is recruiting a Community Worker for short term project with Community Connections, a DHS funded service to support vulnerable and isolated individuals connect and/or reconnect to their community for positive wellbeing outcomes.

The successful candidate must be based locally in the Fleurieu Peninsula, providing outreach services to the Fleurieu region and Kangaroo Island.

The Community Worker will work closely with participants in a service delivery capacity to overall reduce their social isolation, connecting them to local services and programs of their interest, aligning with their identified goal.

The successful candidate will be able to hit the ground running with their previous experience in community development roles which includes having excellent community development skills, the confidence to plan and lead community meetings, and good administrative skills.

Working closely with the Skylight Community Connections team members in other regions, there will also be administrative and reporting requirements.
