– Archaeologist, 3-5 years of archaeological field work experience – Experience in archaeological field work, archaeological compliance, Phase I archaeological surveys, Phase II testing – Experience with construction monitoring – Can have Bachelors Degree in anthropology/archaeology or a related discipline KEY AREAS OF FOCUS – Execution of successful Phase I archaeological surveys, Phase II testing, and data recovery – Construction compliance monitoring, Phase I and II – Construction monitoring – Contributing to the preparation of archaeological reports – Ability to travel and conduct field work for extended periods of time – Field work varies from out of state and backpacking in the field to being in downtown LA – They have travel coordinators that provide hotel / travel arrangements DAILY RESPONSIBILITIES – Construction monitoring on archaeological job sites – Archeological field work (Phase I and II)
