Our developmental biology laboratory is seeking a Postdoctoral Fellow interested in working at the interface of stem cell biology, developmental biology, synthetic biology and machine learning. We are located with the Developmental and Stem Cell Biology Program of the Research Institute at the Hospital for Sick Children in Toronto and are affiliated with the University of Toronto. Our lab focuses on 1) understanding how the human lung forms and the molecular drivers of diseases, 2) creating better lung mimetics for disease modelling and, 3) identifying and testing novel therapeutics for cystic fibrosis and respiratory viral infections using iPSC-derived lung models. We are a diverse team working on cutting-edge projects and collaborating with interdisciplinary researchers. We are seeking an enthusiastic and creative researcher with an open mind and a strong work ethic to join our team. Here’s What You’ll Need:
- PhD or equivalent degree.
- Knowledge of developmental and cell biology is required.
- Knowledge of computer science and stem cell biology is beneficial.
