About the role:

The Digital Marketing Specialist will support the creation and development of exceptional online experiences to help drive engagement and conversion to assist in granting more wishes.

Reporting to the Digital Marketing Manager, this role will work collaboratively with the Marketing, Digital and Engagement and Fundraising teams to drive future success.

This role is responsible for the delivery and successful implementation of marketing and fundraising initiatives across key platforms. It will include the creation, publishing, and optimisation of content across email and website platforms.

Responsibilities of the role

  • Liaising with campaign/content managers, work to a brief to build, publish and optimise key digital components of campaigns and supporter journeys across email and website platforms.
  • In collaboration with the Email and Automation Specialist, build email marketing and SMS campaigns that support conversion and engagement objectives.
  • Support the day-to-day management of the Make-A-Wish websites, eg building landing pages, content creation, and assisting with web updates and maintenance.
  • Conduct channel audits and identify improvements to content, layouts, and templates to enhance support experience and performance.
  • Liaise with key internal and external stakeholders across the business to deliver exceptional outcomes.
  • Feed ideas and recommendations into campaign strategies, platform roadmaps and the wider marketing strategy.
  • Track, monitor and implement changes to optimise campaign performance.
  • Reporting and trend analysis
  • Support digital agency management and any other wider marketing activities as required.

About you

In order to be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Tertiary qualifications in marketing or related discipline desirable, or relevant experience
  • Hands-on experience using marketing platforms including website CMS, email automation and an understanding of HTML email creation
  • A high proficiency in using digital marketing channels and data analytics tools
  • A good understanding of technology and business processes/systems to manage digital marketing campaigns
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Stakeholder management
  • Proven experience working successfully to a brief
  • A positive can-do attitude
  • A desire to learn, grow and build on your knowledge and skills
  • An understanding of content and copywriting for digital channels
  • An understanding of end-to-end marketing campaigns and processes
  • The ability to jump straight in and make your mark!
