A first university degree with a combination of two additional years of qualifying experience may be accepted in lieu of the advanced degree. Successful completion of both degree and non-degree programs in data analytics, business analytics or data science programs is desirable. Job - Specific Qualification Not available. Work Experience A minimum of seven (7) years of progressively responsible working experience in environmental project/programme development, project administration, implementation and management is required. A minimum of four (4) years of experience in the UN system or similar international organization is desirable. Experience in resource mobilization is desirable. Experience in liaising with other UN agencies, inter-governmental organizations and nongovernmental organizations is desirable. A minimum of two (2) years or more of experience in data analytics or related area is desirable. Languages English and French are the working languages of the United Nations Secretariat. For the advertised post, fluency in English and French is required. Working knowledge of other UN languages is desirable. NOTE: ''Fluency'' equals a rating of ''fluent'' in all four areas (read, write, speak, understand) and ''Knowledge of'' equals a rating of ''confident'' in two of the four area. Special Notice Appointment against this post is for an initial period of one year and may be subject to extension.
