Offer Description

The position is permanent. The scientific field, for research and teaching, is General Psychology.
Requested research duties: The research activities will be conducted in accordance with the academic recruitment field 11/E1 (General Psychology, Psychobiology and Psychometrics) and the topics characterizing the scientific-disciplinary sector M-PSI/01 (General Psychology) with particular attention to the cognitive processes that are involved in the visual recognition of words, their production and semantic processing, as well as to cognitive control and stimulus-response compatibility.
Requested teaching duties: Teaching activities will be requested in the realm of the Bachelor degree in Science and Methods of Cognitive Psychology, Interfaces and Communication Technologies, the Master degree in Psychology, the new Bachelor degree in Movement Science, Sport and Wellbeing and the Doctoral program of the department. The teaching commitment of the contract holder is defined by the DiPSCo Council during the planning of teaching activities, in accordance with the specific regulations of the University of Trento.
Maximum number of publications to be presented: 15.

Applications are welcome from candidates with the following qualifications: a) candidates who have passed the Italian National Academic Qualifications Procedure (Abilitazione Scientifica Nazionale) as per Article 16 of Law no. 240/2010 for the subject sector 11/E1 or one of the subject sectors included in the same wider subject sector 11/E and for the academic level that is the subject of the selection procedure; b) candidates who got the qualification “idoneità” according to “Legge 210/1998” for the position corresponding to Full Professor, provided the qualification is still valid; c) candidates already employed as Full Professor in other universities; d) scholars who are permanently employed in research or teaching activities at university level outside Italy in positions which are equivalent to Full Professor (according to ministerial equivalences).
